Xoundly is built to keep as little as possible. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking.

Your voice

When you ride, your voice travels through a real-time voice service (LiveKit) to your partner's phone. It passes through and is gone. Xoundly never records it, stores it or listens to it.

Your ride

• A ride is a 6 character code. It identifies a temporary room for two phones and disappears when you both leave.
• The name you type, your talk mode and your sound settings are saved only on your own phone.
• The ride log is created on your phone and only leaves it if you choose to share it.

Music

Music plays through YouTube's own player inside Xoundly. By using it you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's Privacy Policy applies to what YouTube collects. Xoundly never downloads, copies or alters YouTube content.

This website

• If you join the test group we store your email address and which phone you use, only to send you your test build.
• If you send feedback we store your message, and your email only if you gave one.
• To remove either, send a message through the form on the home page and we will delete it.
• The site is delivered by Cloudflare and its fonts by Google Fonts. Both see the technical details every website visit involves, such as your IP address. We do not use cookies.

Children

Xoundly is made for licensed riders and their passengers. It is not directed at children.
